Has anyone heard from Judith?
Comments (34)Catt, Oh, I hope things will go well for you, in selling your home, but the fantastic thing is, is that your home (from the great photos you have posted) INSIDE AND OUTSIDE, is stunning, far and above all the other homes in your area, so you will blow out the competition! I will keep my fingers crossed for you! Yes, I am back to work, I just am taking it day by day. Luvs, you are always so sweet, thank you for keeping me in your prayer, I'll need them! mary760, thank you for your thoughts too, I appreciate it, I get alot of inspiration from the folks here too, I don't get to participate as much as I'd like to right now, but I hope things will "settle" with me and I will be able to contribute more, but in the meantime I am enjoying everyone elses talents for my spirits! MaryRuth, Hi girl! Thankgoodness you live close to me, it is wonderful to have found a "decorating soul mate" LOL And ladies, she is also a BLAST! Betty, you are such a doll, and make me blush, but in a good way! I am still learning myself! And believe me I get lots of inspiration from you ladies too! There are alot of knowledgeable people here we all can learn from each other. Even if you are a beginner of the "addiction of tablesetting" you will find yourself growing here just like everyone else has done! Practice makes perfect, or at least pretty darn close. LOL Betty, biscuts...yum, I am still hungry from seeing Kathleens photos!...See Moreanyone heard of ctopay?
Comments (16)cindyb_va-"Look at the back of your debit card. There should be a toll free number on your card that is available 24/7. Call this number and tell them you suspect fraudulent activity on your card. Remember, with a debit card, the crooks are taking money out of your checking account. Please, do not wait until Monday, this will give them the weekend to clean your account out." I would definitely not wait until monday. I googled "cytopay" and it says its a Chinese Trading Scam. You might want to see if it could have happened in any of the ways described in the following article. Identity fraud nightmare: One man's story Technology and the recession push ID theft and fraud to record levels By Jennifer Waters, MarketWatch Feb. 10, 2010 "Identity thieves steal mostly through two means, according to Michael Stanfield, chief executive of Intersections Inc., a risk-management firm. They take an established address and phone number of an identity that "has some value," he said, like a doctor or a lawyer. In many instances, they can go to the Internet and acquire the matching Social Security number for as little as $50. They then have enough information to get an address changed with your bank account or a credit card account. They apply for new accounts as you. Others take over existing accounts, Stanfield said, through keystroke malware that you -- and probably hundreds or even thousands simultaneously -- have picked up through the Internet. Listening software then sits on your computer, perking up when you go to a bank site. It copies all your key strokes -- your user name, password, challenge question, account numbers, everything. "You leave and the bad guy goes right back in behind you," Stanfield said. "We've seen examples where that has occurred and its gets fixed and a month later the computer gets cleaned out again and he becomes a new victim, even with a new account." Comments (8)I replied over on the computer help forum about it. there are a couple in this same category. The problem is you have to pay them $10 per month as a "tech support" fee which really adds up since you still have to pay for your internet connection and you have to have a wireless router for the wireless in the unit to get a connection from what I understand. Plus I really do not know how they can legally get away with selling this product with linux on it with out breaking the GNU public license agreement. Personally I would just get them a low price pc wipe it clean and install one of the light free linux distros on it and let them use that. Pretty much the same thing and the cost would be much less. the price of the unit for what it is spec wise is ridiculous....See MoreHas anyone heard of Antico Stella Notte granite?
Comments (11)Hey ladies! Thanks so much for your help! Neesie, I completely agree a rose is still a rose! My problem is that I am SO excited about this project that I want everything YESTERDAY!! Any picture etc. that is remotely close to what I am doing I want to get my hands on!! I am spending way too much time on the internet these days:) I love the VA Mist, blue kit. Right now, I am compiling all of these different countertop estimates from Level 1 granite up to Soapstone and VA Mist, Caesarstone etc. before I make any decisions. I am at the point right now where my project is "fluid". In addition to the remodel, we are bumping out our kitchen and family room 8 ft. So the new addition will be 8x42 ft. with the new kitchen being 21x21(see before pics and project pics if interested:) It seems like everyday there is some unforeseen expense that keeps chipping away at my granite budget!! Initially I wanted to do soapstone on the perimeter and buler's pantry with an African Mahogany butcher block top on the island........At this point I will be lucky if I can upgrade to laminate from plywood!! Fortunately, the only appliances I am replacing are my cooktop and refrigerator. It started when the excavator had to go deeper than originally thought to find the right soil for the footers. Then they found plumbing and wiring from the upstairs bathrooms in odd places, upstairs windows had to be moved to accomodate the roof and I am dealing with (and I knew this going in) trying to work a dropped beam with columns in the middle of my kitchen to support the upstairs bay window! Please tell me that it is completely normal to regret the decision to remodel!! Thanks for letting me vent!!! Here is a link that might be useful: Photobucket...See More- 7 years ago
