Rocco, A couple of weeks ago, I purchased an Italian Honey Fig and a Celeste from "Petals from the Past" via internet. Cost of the fig trees were about $8 and shipping was reasonable. The trees arrived in very good shape by UPS and were in 1/2 gallon pots. I would recommend them. Go to their website and check it out - I think they are only taking orders through May 31. Joe

Hi tobybul2. I just now saw this post. My house is probably closer to 70 degrees, however; this chamber is sitting close to an east facing patio door that we use and doesn't seem to bother it any. Let me know what you decide on and snap a pic. Good luck! Smoochas, no I didn't cut them in half but they would certainly be fine to do so. They are very nice cuttings. The only reason I didn't is because I don't have the room right now. I might try some cut in half to start outside.

Hello Konjacking, I would like to pick your brain a little bit about your Italian Black tree? We bought what was labeled as Black Mission locally in June, it had figs that looked exacatlly like your B.I., my question concerns what color is the bark on your tree, mine is light gray, my other trees bark are different shades of brown I could only hope to have a tree like you & your Dad's.
