Today is Jeep 4x4 Day so I thought I'd share our CJ2A....Dad bought it new in 1948...told Mom he was bringing her home a little red convertible...not quite what she had in mind!

This picture is 10 years old and this cabinet is now jampacked with stuff that I'm sure is out of date and that would be a good project for a rainy day before trash pickup. This is my view out of one of my windows. The one in my yard is a beautiful natural, not murdered, crepe myrtle. But the big oak in the neighbors yard is fascinating. It is very large and has lots of twists and turns in the trunk. I put my little bench under them for a shady spot to sit and watch Mia play.

8 years agoNot so hidden critter in front of my door. I guess she was all crinkled up because I had to go close by there to take the dogs inside after our walk. Definitely feels like Spring.

Each year we enjoy an Easter morning fundraising breakfast at a local fire station in one of our surrounding canyons. And each year after breakfast we walk the canyon and visit all the animals along the way. Turkeys, dogs, birds, goats, horses greet us at every step. This horse is Reno. We've been stopping by to say hello to Reno the last six years and always take his photo. Took five years to find his owner and get his name. We look forward to seeing him every year. This is our 33 year old daughter saying hello to Reno this year.
