If the wall feels clammy, especially at corners or anywhere the durabond is thickest, you need to wait. Nothing can stick to damp compound. It will take the longest to dry where it is coolest and has the least air movement, so a fan and space heater can really help. The unical by itself was ready to paint in 24 hrs as a veneer plaster, I'm really only concerned about the durabond areas. Casey

An hour or two or even a few days will not make any difference. It is the length of time the bulbs are prechilled that is the concern. If they have received adequate chill temps for a sufficient length of time, then some reasonable delay in planting them is not an issue. FWIW, they sell prechilled bulbs in garden centers for forcing (or for planting in warm winter climates) so obviously these are not being planted immediately :-))

You do know Aloes are succulents right? As such they are able to hold water in reserve in their leaves. I have multiple Aloes growing on a west window, I don't water more often than 7-10 days. Not sure why you're watering so much, doesn't seem right & sounds like it won't end well. 3" of mix is a lot of mix beneath the roots, especially if you're watering so often. You were asked for a pic for a reason, so we can see from the plant, what's going on from the look of the plant, tells much more than any description. Can't really give General advice like that, too many variables.
