Given the gold on the dresser it would be very pretty in Down Pipe by FB, however I'd only do that if your bedding is predominantly white or bright tones as if you go all dark the room will fall very dark with the bed, nightstands, walls.... I'd probably go with one of FB neutrals if you aren't leaning toward say, white bedding, curtains and neutrals with colorful art. Conforth White can lean purple in some spaces so??? Maybe Hardwick White which leans taupe or Skimming Stone which has a warm stone feel? If you have a FB store near you then they sell the small cans so you might get a poster board and cut it in to 4's and try a few colors from the neutrals. Elephants Breath is pretty, but fear it's all going to be too much the same in tones. It would look very pretty in Down Pipe or even Moles Breath with the gold. Again, would only do it if you are doing light/bright neutrals even on maybe a soft fluffy flotaki area rug or similar.

If going dark, FB Hague Blue in gloss looks great.(although I'd probably do Brinjal) Or since someone else is doing it,maybe Inchyra. Light,dark or medium tones,all could work. Depends on the feeling you want in the space. What is your favourite colour in FB? Have you narrowed down your rug choices?

An are rug and bedding is going to be a larger investment then the FB paint. I'd select an area rug and bedding then pull from them to select your best FB paint that you'd love to tie in with the rest after.

I do think Macy's has a lot of great bedding. I also do believe in most cases you get what you pay for with bedding. Nice thing about Macy's is there are often a lot of reviews so you can read what others say.

Depends on if you want a more relaxed look such as some linen fabric or cotton or....

I personally have all white sheets in every room of my house. I'm more a fan of a neutral bed and if I choose I can add some pillows with texture or some pattern and rotate if I like and I'm not stuck with a busy duvet cover or comforter that is dictating my toss pillow(s) or throw.

Pottery Barn has some nice bedding as well. I am always cognizant of my mattress size as I hate the fitted corners popping up so love them to be a deeper pocket.

Given the styles above do you favor something in more neutrals you can add some color to and you can rotate pillows and a throw a couple times of year for a new look or something more like the second photo?

Sure, if you go with all neutrals as in the second photo get good sheets regardless. Read about pilling and so on when you read reviews.

You can find many throws and many toss pillows at Home Goods at a fraction of the cost of Macy's and you can take them home and play with them and return for others if you want to try different things.

I have purchased this sheet in the past in King, don't see it in King on the site currently. They are nice sheets. Again, I can only speak for the white as the other colors may fade? I prefer a cotton vs. Sateen, but that is personal preference too. Surely you can read some reviews and go to the store and take a look after reading up on them some.
