What do I need to replumb the PVC pipes for this kitchen sink?

I am replacing a double kitchen sink. The new sink has drain holes 12.5” apart on centers. The current sink has drains about 16” apart on centers.

When the new sink is installed, the pvc pipe to the disposer will need to be shorter, and the pvc pipe from the wall will have to be adjusted and probably lengthened to accomodate the angle.

I have never worked with pvc pipe before except to clean a p trap. What pvc materials and tools do I need to buy to adjust the pipes to work with the drain holes in the new sink?

I assume I can cut the pvc pipe to the disposer, and I would need some sort of new pipe to come out of the wall and attach to the p trap. Also I don’t know how the connectors work - are there threads underneath? Can I do this by just cutting the disposer pipe and getting a longer elbow pipe with threads to go from the p trap to the wall? Do I need to buy chemical coatings and a cutter?

The new sink is a kohler brooklyn.
