Speaking of Wsing, thank you Mr/Mrs Squirrel!
Comments (6)I found my own surprise this week - I'd pulled two little clumps of germinating seedlings from my hellebores, thinking they were strange, definitely not hellebores. Hmmmm, what kind of pod could have blown in there that all those '???' seeds had germinated almost on top of each other. Pod? Fruit? Berry? Duh. Clump three and closer examination, they're sunflowers. Little stashes of sunflowers. We don't have squirrels, but occasionally a chipmunk. I suspect it was Chippy :)...See MoreAnd, Speaking of Witches
Comments (7)That is a cool witch, lynn!...but I think she's between looking like a good witch or a bad one! LOL! Must be the warts & the open mouth! You must have made her in a ceramics class, right? Anyway, she looks right at home sitting there with her broom on that pumpkin. Congrats on the tickets to "Wicked" ... our son has vacationed a couple times in NY the past few yrs (where I have never been BTW)..& he saw the broadway show there...& enjoyed! That will certainly be a wonderful gift for your daughter! TFS, lynn! Jeanne S....See MoreI'm so happy, I'm so happy! Update
Comments (7)Good for you IÂm glad it was that easy for you. It took nine months of the GE repairman coming to my house every Monday before GE finally replaced my less than 2 year old refrigerator. My neighbor thought I was having a fling with the young man and ask DH about it. LOL He replaced everything in the refrigerator and it still froze everything I put in it. I havenÂt any reason to believe that the new one will last five years and you bet I will never buy GE again. Claudia...See Moremore on shoes... so, what is your favorite brand?
Comments (42)I have small wide feet. Very difficult getting shoes. Years ago, for work, my go to was Naturalizer because they offered wide. When I stopped working and had my daughters, I was in Nike or New balance sneakers. My sneakers now are Nike. I had to order and send back so many pairs as the stores didn't carry wide. Now it's crocs (so many cute ones now a days), Bernardo flip flops, Easy Spirit, a Reiker loafer I bought years ago. (I had the sense to stockpile two extras and now I'm on the last pair. I have some Aerosole, but from years ago. Nothing seems to fit there. Added woe. The Easy Spirit store closed. Macy's bought Easy Spirit so they might begin to show more, but Macy's isn't really convenient for me either. I have one pair of Ecco shoes, but they aren't really comfortable. I wear the Ecco sandals all summer for taking long walks....See More- 8 years ago
