I'm so happy, I'm so happy! Update

The inside glass of my oven cracked about a week ago, went to the store where we bought it, pictures in hand...they set up an appt. for a tech to come look at it for today. He suggested I contact the manufacturer directly, which I did and was told there was nothing they could do. I persisted in telling them I was not responsible for the defect. Finally I'm told they will pay for half of the part :( I kept my calm, asked to speak to the supervisor and lo and behold parts and labor are now authorized at no charge to me :)

I'm so happy! And all done without my blood pressure being raised :) It's a good day!

Congratulations! We have had an unusually warm late fall/early winter. I'm in shock that I have figs still growing on one tree with no sign of dormancy. I doubt they will ripen, but they are getting big. Still hard though. Enjoy your zucchini!

Congrats! This is wonderful news! I for one appreciate hearing these OT posts - both the good and the not-so-good. As a true TKO, my kitchen project has been so all-consuming, maybe not always in a healthy way. It's so good to be slapped upside the head by real life news & events. Kitchens are well, just kitchens, afterall. Thanks for sharing! Congrats again.

Thanks, you guys! Petaloid and Cynic, you are so right. SIL said it wasn't a virus. He tried to tell me what he thought may have happened, but after the first minute I was in lala land, having no idea what he was talking about. :-( Jasdip, our day was fun with my daughter, SIL and DGS here. Our grandson, Alex, is 15 and already 6'2. He's such a joy and has his mom's sense of humor, which is a little whacky, like mine. He's really a smart kid and makes honor roll even though he's in a very advanced program. I just love him to pieces!!

Good for you IÂm glad it was that easy for you. It took nine months of the GE repairman coming to my house every Monday before GE finally replaced my less than 2 year old refrigerator. My neighbor thought I was having a fling with the young man and ask DH about it. LOL He replaced everything in the refrigerator and it still froze everything I put in it. I havenÂt any reason to believe that the new one will last five years and you bet I will never buy GE again.
