Tibbrix, my guess is that your client's D&A rug is one of the 100% cotton indoor rugs. They are indeed lightweight and not suitable for vacuuming. The D&A indoor/outdoor rugs are more hefty and can withstand vacuuming. Personally, I would never use a wool rug as a kitchen runner. My criteria for most fabrics, including those underfoot in high-traffic areas, are they must be easily cleaned and on a regular basis. Especially in the kitchen. Between feet and dog and spills and loading dishwasher by not-so-careful kids, and so on, my kitchen runner has to be washable in my washing machine, or it doesn't work. Unless I come across a cool vintage rug with patina TDF. Then perhaps I'll have wool in my kitchen.

WOW! That is horrible! The comments from others at the site are funny and quickly go awry; but this first one was cute - "Dazzle camouflage in its civilian setting." Any good carpet installer would be able to do it. Should be no more than $500.00. For reference, we typically pay around $250.00 for the stairs when they are installing the remaining portion of the house.

That's unfortunate. I'm sure you can sell it on FB Marketplace quite easily when you're ready. I have ruggables in my kitchen and my foyer, and I love them. The rest of my house I have genuine antique wool rugs, but in high traffic areas I want washable. There should be little triangles where you can tuck the pad corners into the rug, so I don't have any problem with it rolling up. Mine lay perfectly, and I love them because they're so easy to vacuum and even sweep with a broom. I will agree though that they don't give enough close-up pictures so it's really hard to see the whole pattern and colors. Luckily I was happy with mine when they arrived, but they definitely need more pictures.
