I'm curious about something. When I was looking at barstools I found that by looking on commercial furniture sites you often got a much better bang for the buck, more choices in finishes and fabric/leather options. I'm wondering if the same is true for armchairs as in commercial vs. residential mass productions. I was just looking on one site called Kellex Commercial and they have some great choices in fabric for their armchairs. This is just one of many commercial furniture sites. On regular shopping sites like PB, RH, and all the rest you only get a few choices in fabrics that are not overly exciting. I've had the rug now for 4 months and love it! It vacuums very well. To be honest, at first I was surprised that the rug seems to "show" more crumbs/dirt. However, I think what is going on is that the crumbs are not settling into the fibers, they sit on top because of the way the wool is knotted. I can actually see that I've gotten everything with the vacuum, which is great. To avoid this, I need to get the kids to stop eating in the family room, but, our kitchen is under construction, so they get a pass, for now! My husband did spill some coffee on it one day, and although I wouldn't recommend doing that :), it cleaned up rather well after blotting the coffee, then blotting again with a wet rag. Can't see a stain. I'm doing the same in the kitchen as you, white cabinets, white/charcoal quartz, and the rug does pull it together well! I ended up with Agreeable Gray on the walls. It is more on the greige side, but I like that for my house and looks good with the rug. This is all still a work in progress, so anxious to see how it all comes together in the end! I think your couch will be fine!! I haven't bought it yet, but leaning towards doing an ottoman in a very similar leather color next to the grey couch.
