I think the "Blue Crown" is the first one. The second one looks like the white and purple one (Passiflora caerulea). However, I also gave you a start of "Snow Queen", which also looks like P. caerulea.

I really don't remember the name of the second plant. I think is Plectranthus argentatus, but I'm not 100% sure. I didn't get it from a nursery but from an abandoned restaurant here in Kyle. It's a convenient invasive plant that pop ups everywhere during the cold seasons (including winter)but it disappears with the heat.

Omar, thank you! I had forgotten that you gave me Snow queen! The foliage looks different on the link with five deeply separated lobes instead of the three that my photo shows, although in the discussion it's said that it sometimes has three lobes, so the leaves may produce more lobes as it matures. We'll see and we'll know for sure when it blooms.

I may move it to a place of it's own now that I know it's probably ID, or in case it turns out to be one of the rampant growing cultivars. Have you found P. 'snow queen' to be an overly enthusiastic grower/spreader?

I just bought it last fall. However, I was able to put three cuttings in water right after I bought it (October, I think). All of them took. I gave away 2 of the starts and I kept one indoors by a windowsill. It grew 3 feet in 4 months. I've read that it reaches up to 8' which is not bad compared to my 20' pepper vine. I guess we will find out...

I read these discussions and still dream about a well mannered passiflora. Regarding butterflies, my garden feels like a Maryott Courtyard, which offers free breakfast but said b/fast excludes CEREAL. What, no passifloras in this garden, let’s get outta here!!

Bossy, IMO if you plant a passi in a spot where it doesn't have that many plants around, it's pretty easy to control its shooters. The problem comes when you have it planted among a myriad of plants (like I do), and even in that situation, it's very annoying pulling out those shooters but not that bad. Compared with thugs like ruellia or variegated Artemisia, controlling passifloras is a piece of cake. Let me know if you decide to go to that route. I have purple, white, pink and, purple and white.
