brugmansia from the spring raleigh swap ..
Comments (36)I've had best luck overwintering Brugs by applying some chopped up oak leaves for mulch and not cutting back the old stems until spring. The stems are hollow and if water gets down there and freezes you will usually loose them. If you do want to cut them back in the fall you can cap the cut ends with a small piece of tinfoil....See More2018 Raleigh NC Fall Plant Swap
Comments (32)Sorry, I was following the other thread and missed seeing the posts here. karen_w - I will bring several different rose cuttings ( I have Pope John Paul, Mardi Gras, Felicia, Hansa, Peach Drift, Easy to Please, Easy Does It, etc, etc) I would love the Pink Pet and Millenium Allium. lorabell_gw -Is the Alpinia hardy here or does it need to be brought indoors? If it can stay outside, please bring some for me. Jaimie - I will bring an Arundo Peppermint Stick and Mardi Gras for you. Bring me anything you like. Fragrant, shade loving are always welcome. But anything is fine....See MoreSpring 2020 Raleigh Swap, special side trades outside of General Swap
Comments (155)CasaLester, The climbing hydrangea is indeed H. anomala subsp. petiolaris, so definitely not the one that you want. I don't have any red flowered camellias, only white and one pink. The loropetalum I have is Proven Winners Jazz Hands White. I unfortunately have no more space for shrubs or trees or I'd take the hardy grapefruit. I don't need anything in return for the loropetalum. I will hold it for you. (Is you fine, or should I use they or them or another? I'm not so great at pronouns but I try.)...See MoreFood for Raleigh Spring Swap 2022
