Comments (9)Fortunately we have a store about an hour and a half away and we were able to check the Lansdale tile out in person. None of the samples we saw in person had green undertones but the store employee showed us pictures of a recently installed bathroom in which there were definitive green undertones. This could be attributed to the natural variation in the stone or the stone coming from a different lot or the fact that customers are encouraged to pick through the tiles keep the ones that work and return the rest. This wouldn't be a problem for us if the store had the tile on hand but this store does not have this particular stone on hand. I should probably take my own advice and stay clear if there is this concern! Thank you again for your help and I hope all is well....See MoreWhat is this shape of tile called?
Comments (8)The companies that do lots of different trims will have a pile of them listed as "architectural". For example, https://www.fireclaytile.com/architectural-moldings/ . I do like the perimeter tile in the photo. (I think it would look better if they hadn't gone overboard with the beveled field tile though.)...See Morewhat is the name of this tile?

Comments (8)Great looking space. Rugs in the living/dining area can make the floor tile less dominant. if it seems to be "too much wood" for your taste, you might consider leaving the ceiling and the rafters and beams but paint the wood window and door trim and any vertical posts as well as that really long horizontal piece above the post near the door. Would not change the light fixtures or ceiling fan until you're moved with the furnishings you will be using for the foreseeable future as that can make a huge difference -- unless, of course, you are buying all new furniture and light fixtures -- then choose each with the other in mind....See Moregraywings123
