Speed queen front loader- standing water under gasket

Abby F

I have a stacked Sqeedqueen washer/dryer and have a problem with standing water under the gasket after I run a load. I tried to look for drain holes that were clogged, but couldn't find any. Next thought was I need to clean the trap, but couldn't figure out how to do that either. There isn't a little door on the front like on some other brands. So my questions:

1. What could be causing the standing water? There is a rubber flap around the door closure, and when I lifted it up to clean underneath it at the bottom, there is standing water in a kind of rubber trough that is hidden by the rubber flap. Growing all sorts of yucky stuff! I wiped it out very well, and ran a hot empty wash with just bleach. Still standing water when I opened the door and checked.

2. How do I fix it?
