I love the rectangular mirror.

And you could easily change out the knobs on that vanity to match better with the rectangular mirror.

I am not really a fan of the faucet in chrome.

Powder rooms are small, and I think you have too many "stars". It's not that I don't like them each individually ... I just think you have too many strong elements for a small room.

I like that mirror. Uttermost has some nice mirrors too.

Does the vanity come in a stain that's less red? It seems I saw someone post a similar vanity a month or two ago, or was that you?

I think that was me! At that time I was debating between vanity light or sconces... decided on sconces but depending on space they might need to be mounted on the side walls on either side.

I think the mahogany color will work against the wainscot though right? Wainscot will be painted an off-white color

Just saw some of the earlier comments - the faucet is in polished nickel (not chrome), but do you think it would be better in oil rubbed bronze or brass?

Chrome and polished nickel are classics in that style faucet. I like the sparkle of the polished. You probably know chrome has a blue undertone and nickel has yellow. We were shown the Cassidy in nickel a few weeks ago and I thought it looked quite yellow gold, so it should look fine with gold-toned sconces and mirror. The Champagne Bronze might not match with other gold tones. I'm assuming you're buying the lights and mirror online so there's no way to know if the golds match. I would not use the Venetian Bronze.

It seems that the warm brass and the faucet should work together. I like that Savoy House Monroe sconce. In your situation, I would order the faucet and the sconces, then look locally for a mirror the correct color. Or, if you like the mirror better than you like the sconces, buy that first. The look for sconces to match. Either way. But have the faucet and one thing that match, then look for the third. You may still be able to order online, but having the other two things at home to check the color against when the new thing arrives will make it easier.

Also, with a mirror, you may tweak the color with paint. Not so with the lamp.

This is purely opinion, but I like the fancy mirror ... I'd change the vanity. Why? Because I'd rather "go simple" with the more permanent items. It's easy to change out a mirror later.

Chrome and polished nickel are classics

I think this topic gets too much attention. Once the room is put together, I don't think anyone really notices the metal -- as long as they match and as long as you're in the "expected-for-faucets" silver family. If you branch out into the trendy brass tones, then I think people notice.

Small areas typically use an interesting piece of furniture as a focal point, whether it's an entry way, the end of a hallway, or a powder room, so you do want a furniture style vanity. Your selection really fits the bill imo.

Does the vanity come with a choice of countertops or will you need to find one on your own?

We can do either -I’m trying to figure out which is less expensive and go that way!
