Discussion about deleting photos (links to hosting sites) is gone
Comments (46)I got an email back today. "HI there, Photos can be uploaded directly to Houzz, so while you may include links to photo bucket or other photo sites in your posts and comments, the photos can not be embedded directly. Original posts must be edited within an hour. Comments on posts can be edited up to one week later. The reason these limits are in place is to insure consistency in the discussion that follows and to allow for minimal disruption to the other users participating in the conversation. If posts are editable forever, discussions can lose their coherency as people come back and remove their content." I also saw on the Kitchen forum today someone mentioned a post she flagged as spam other people could still see and were commenting on. I'm interested to know how the flagging works too. - Since I flagged two of my own posts. I did want to correct that the photos from Photobucket that weren't coming down...when I went back in last night to try some tests here I realized I didn't delete all of my pics which was why they were still showing the other day. My bad. I apologize for going on about that when it was my fault....See MorePLEASE HELP! searching for the Drexel Heritage Bed of Ribbon (king)

Comments (1230)I feel like when I post something I like, I get told to just go in person and that I'm not being helped to go forward and how it's not helping when when I just posted stuff I like. Ideas thrown here has helped me. I agree with those who are saying go with neutral, quieter, go with what you like, so I feel like I am moving forward. So it can get discouraging/overwhelming here so I don't know...I might take a break from here. Bluemarble, is exactly right. I've said before too. I'm not interested in shopping in person for many reasons including the pandemic. Even if it wasn't for not going out, I've still always been an online shopper mostly when it comes to furniture and what's what I feel comfortable with right now. And bluemarble is spot on that I knew I didn't like the table the next day I got it and it's what I felt threw me off and once it's gone, I'm trying to go back to neutrals/cozy and what I like - earthy colors, minimalism, metallic, grays, neutrals and yes......a cozy feel. Even if it's industrial or farmhouse, scandinavian, or boho, I can't worry about that. As long as I can focus on neutrals/cozy room idea, then I should be fine. As lindacottonwood says, there are too many irons in the fire. Thanks for everyone's help....See Moreis there a way to search for recipes?
Comments (0)I was a member of this site many years ago before it was switched over to Houzz. I am looking for a few particular recipes, and I believe there was a recipe archive too. Is that gone? Somebody made a fabulous spaghetti sauce that had wine and I was looking for a good recipe. Another was an appetizer for bourbon meatballs. Thanks!!...See MoreIndigo Rose
