ANY bass fishermen (or women) in here?
Comments (36)I haven't been fishing musky for long, but know plenty of people that get them to bite on the second or third follow, sometimes with the same bait, sometimes with a different throwback bait. I wouldn't wait all day after a follow, but a couple extra casts will sometimes induce them to strike. If not, depending on the aggression shown during the follow, you leave, then come back to the spot later with a different presentation. I'm leaving tomorrow midday for a fall trophy hunt near the WI/UP border. Freezing temps means lots of warm clothes, slower moving baits, and a couple big fat suckers on quick strike rigs hanging over the side. I can't wait. By the way, a few musky guys I know from OH, KY, MO, etc. inform me that gar are in fact a blast to catch. Hard to get the iron into their bony mouths from what I'm told. Somebody also mentioned they can be caught with a frayed piece of nylon rope? Kevin I like muskies....See MoreWhat razor do you recommend?
Comments (31)I have used Bic Soliel and Venus. I like the idea of just replacing handles but the disposables are always cheaper. Just found a hybrid and bought one but havn't tried it yet. Bic Soliel has a version that somes with 6 blades, so it is one handle that is not meant to be permanent with 6 blades. You only toss one hande for every 6 blades. It was an idea I thought was too long in coming, so I hope it works out well....See Morewomen's razor for upper lip and chin hairs
Comments (17)Not everyday, only when I remember to check to see if there are hairs. I use a nose trimmer also, but I need to find something with a little more power. I guess I don't regret starting to shave because what is the alternative? Pluck? ouch, Bleach? have a bushy white upper lip and cat whiskers coming out of the mole on my lower jaw?? Maybe laser, but I think it's expensive at least around here. My BF bleaches sometimes and it looks awful. I mean really awful, the bleaching doesn't look good at all if the hair is long - moustache and beard long. She told me one time "but if I shave, it'll come in black". I agree, but....See MoreTuesday's Trivia Quiz
