I need some help identifying this teaset...any info would be greatly a
Comments (4)Googling the name, Dar al Hadaya Sharqiya , it appears to be a boutique in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I assume they had the tea set custom made for the store. Given the poshness of the mall and the store, it was probably expensive stuff. Can't be older than the company, but I can't figure out how old they are. http://www.redseamall.com/index.php?file=c-shopping_details&iBusinessId=534&iParentId=1 http://www.redseamall.com//public_html/uploads/business_images/534/4_1380137666_96763.jpg...See MoreNeed some help identifying some succulents!
Comments (5)Hi Shelby. They look lovely :-) I'm mostly guessing here, but I'm sure others will pipe up. The first one looks a bit like a taller version of my Gasteria 'little warty', so maybe a Gasteria? If not, maybe an Aloe? Your 2nd plant is a Crassula, not sure which one. Guess... perforata? 3rd plant an Echeveria? 4th, another Gasteria, maybe It will be interesting to see if I get any correct lol. Just practicing my identifying skills, or lack of lol. Good luck...See MoreNeed help with my cactuses
Comments (3)I do not know about the white part, but I can tell you that your soil is not good for your plants--they need a fast draining potting mix, most commonly recommended here is commercial cactus and succulent Mix, mixed 50-50 with perlite or pumice available from your nursery. I assume your clay pots have a drainage holes. Repot them knocking off all old soil and don't water for a week or so. Make sure they get plenty of light ....See MoreI need some help identifying this succulent!
Comments (7)It IS an Aeonium, tho' I don't know which. I've grown a 3 or 4 kinds (not well, indoors only). Never heard of them being propagatable (?) by leaf. Had to be division like a separate rosette. OK, I read the thread & Neil's experiences, but to date, he seems the only one who has succeeded w/ it. I was going to suggest it might be something like what happens w/ a particular Hoya. Folks think it'll root & it does, sometimes a handful of roots, but it never grows into another plant, 9/10 times it fails. Perhaps Cactus McHarris can speak to this since he'd grown various Aeoniums outdoors in San Diego. Whether or not one can propagate Aeoniums from leaves pls. I'm guessing he'll say not likely. Don't know where you are or what heat you get, but these can go dormant in Summer, closing their rosettes somewhat...See Morecpopa
