Bugs on monstera

I found these tiny white bugs crawling on the saucer my monstera's pot sits on. can anyone help identify them?

The poor plant has been plagued with these bugs for months and looks like it :(

Have tried neem oil + dish soap spray + rubbing alcohol solution but they keep coming back. What else can I do?

They are only on the saucer?

Are you sure they aren't springtails? I can't get enough definition to see them well.

Maybe the leaves are burned from the chemicals you sprayed on them? So there are no bugs on the plant itself?

Just trying to get a handle on the situation. Thank you for the clarifications!

I can't tell you about the bugs but I'm certain they're nothing to do with the poor state of your plant. That looks like a chemical and/or watering disaster, not bug damage. I agree that the sprays are probably making things much worse.

It is thrips -- I got a positive ID from my state extension office. Currently trying to treat with a combo of insecticidal soap, neem oil, and spinosad.. Ugh! Thank you :)

Also any other care tips for this beauty I’d love to hear them! I have it in a terra-cotta pot with a drainage hole, out of direct sun near an east facing window. (In the picture it’s in my bathroom enjoying some humidity temporarily)

I can't see what those bugs are but the damage seems more from poor watering practices and/or chemicals as already suggested.

I've got the same bugs - underside of the leaves. I can't figure out what they are since they are so so so tiny! I've removed the damaged leaves and repotted. I found them **while** repotting thinking that the damaged yellowing leaves were actually from root rot. I've been removing the bugs by hand, but am still finding them sporadically.
