I met this beautiful dog Micah and her human on a trail the other day. He told me she is training to be a certified cadaver dog.

Trevi Fountain in Rome. It is extremely difficult to get a decent photo due to the huge crowds there. Too many people getting close to do a 'selfie'! One would have to get there near sunrise.

LOL Jim ... not moving ... at least not right away.

We just sold rental property we've had here in So Cal for 40 years. We want to reinvest in something larger and newer. We have relatives in Georgetown and have visited them three times in the last four years and have fallen in love with the area.

I retired last May and my husband retires today. Because we are buying with investment money we cannot live in the home we buy for at least two years without paying capital gains so we plan on traveling and maybe even living in another country before we settle down. After that ... I'm not sure ... the world might end. :-)

My BIL and SIL live in Georgetown. They moved from Roundrock and have loved the Austin area for 50+ years.

ETA: Isn't DawninCal the lady who is on vacation in Vietnam (or maybe Malaysia) right now?

Fun2BHere ... that certainly was a fun day. I wouldn't mind doing that again. But since I haven't been on the KT much recently, I have no idea how many are within an easy commute to my house.
