Broccoli Varieties to Start From Seed in Zone 6a

Thomas

I'm likely getting started late. I'm in zone 6a. Looking for varieties of broccoli, cauliflower and other cool weather crops to start from seed. I already have a seed starting set up that I've been using to grow hyrdoponic spinach and lettuce.

I'd love to know what varieties other people are using. I would like to use the beds for peppers and tomato plants so quick time to harvest would be great. Also interested in where people are buying seeds from. I understand that broccoli and family can survive light frost. How soon can the plants go in the ground before the last frost?
