Comments (13)Val, I appreciate the attention you have given the posts. I have had company most of the summer and I love having them but it puts a damper on the picture taking! Thank you beachlily. I really am trying to downsize a bit but end up on the LA..I am also doing some trading this year! Vickie, the first pic of YDD is after the transplant. Now I am going to do it again as soon as it cools! LOL!! Kay, YT&T came as a gift plant! I like it but it reminds me a lot of Palace Garden Beauty.. Julia, I suppose I will do it again next year. last year, I had to wait until fall because I fall so far behind as I did this year.. Thanx to you all.. It's been fun! Comments (10)Val, WS bloomed so well this year and I had to break up the clump when I was transplanting.. I hate that. I love WT too!! Nancy, not anymore. I'm down to 1 patch now and the seedling patch, of course. I got rid of about half of my dls.. Avedon, the spidery ones did so well this year and what's not to love about WT...she's a beauty.. nat4b, I love Wedding Feast. It seems to do well here always. Wild Horses is the only daylily that I have that can from one of the big box stores. It was in bloom when I bought it so I knew what I was getting.. Thank you all....Ellie...See MoreX,Y, and Z dailies 2020
Comments (21)Sherry: I'll miss the smile I got from your sayings along with the daylilies. Thanks for running another smooth operation this year................I always enjoy seeing Yellow Monkey. Edward really made an impression on us many years back when he showed how great it looked in his garden. From everyone else's pictures of it now, I'd say his was a true statement of how it looks. Glowing bright sunny yellow. Just my color........Celeste: Your Yellow Satellite is a glowing sunny yellow too but in my kind of rounded form. Luscious...... Nan: Yuma looks good as a yellow too, but does it have an orange/brown cast to it? ........Debra: I love the pink color on Zuzu's Treasure. There's all kinds of pinks of course, and Zuzu has a shade I really like. Good show (and thanks mucho for a "Z" in the alphabet)..............Maryl...See More2020 letters W, X, Y & Z
Comments (16)No perennials in these letters, but my garden will perennially feature zinnias because the butterflies love them. Varieties pictured include 'Super Yoga Rose' which I can sadly no longer find, 'Mazurkia' and 'Exquisite'. Thanks, GardenHo and Peren.all for hosting this fun event! I have enjoyed looking back through last year's garden, and thanks to a weird warm winter, this alphabet has carried me right through to blooming flowers in this season's garden! I really appreciate seeing everyone's gardens and all the lovely comments and feedback on my photos. I hope your gardens have a great season! (And thanks Ken for suggesting we steal the hosta forum idea!) Happy meteorological spring, all!...See More
