Help with grout color for backsplash

Hello! Please help with grout color for kitchen backsplash. Trying to choose between white or a dark grout. White would be more serene and a darker grout would show the pattern more. Here are pictures of the tile, tile with white grout and the room to show the style/decor of the area. Thanks!

I vote light gray grout. Not as hard to keep clean and shows a subtle pattern compared to white. Not as busy as dark.

Lovely home! I would go with a darker grout. I would want to see the beautiful pattern as much as I could.

Love your home as well:) Slightly darker grout, yes, as to see the pattern better..just make sure your tile setter is good

I think it looks more like a light gray color. It's similar to my kitchen backsplash. I went with a slightly darker gray in my bathroom and it seems a whole lot darker. A light gray should give you the current look. Whatever you do, don't go with anything in the beige family. I originally had antique white grout and hated it so much I had them take it out immediately.

Many years back, a member here started the arabesque tile trend. She has Antico Bianco granite which looks like yours. Google Beekkeeperswife, GW kitchens and see her kitchen threads. She moved and used the same tile again but with White Princess granite (?) I agree with Chispa. I think Bee used grout to match the tiles.

I would go lighter. The tile is beautiful, but a darker grout would give me a headache.

Your home is very beautiful. Myself I prefer the lighter grout.
Who is the tile made by. Retiling our backsplash and would like to check this one out. Good luck, Harley

Harley - I originally found the tile at Tile Bar but then found it for a way better price on Amazon. If it’s not the exact same tile as the one from Tile Bar it’s so close I can’t tell a difference and it was $11 sq ft cheaper on Amazon. I ordered some sheets through Amazon directly and when they had trouble fulfilling I ordered the rest directly through Stone Tile Mosaics which is the Amazon seller. Stone Tile Mosaics were wonderful- they honored Amazons price and free shipping. I think the tile is made by Vouge Tile and its called Vogue Tile

Hi Friends,

Can Ceramic Tile be painted? I will be

A silver grey colour and tiles are now beige.

Will it make the tiles look cheap.

Also, what about wallpaper. Can you paint

over it.

Trying to help a friend out who is now on her own.
