Thank you both for your helpful comments. I have played with a few grays and I feel like it makes the cabinets look to gold/yellow. Does that make sense?

Does any one think the color on the walls currently makes any sense?

The pink doesn't work well with the yellow cabinets either. The pink walls do go with the countertop.

You have a lot of competing elements in the room. Are you willing to change the countertops?

What about an off white?

Nice space but you do have a couple challenges with color concerning the mixture of warm and cool color tones. I think an oyster shell paint color or the classic grey mentioned above would look nice (paint the wall opening of blue wall). To enhance the space I might suggest changing out the artwork to a deeper wood tone or darker matte board. It would give a different look also to change the cabinet hardware to silver or some glass knobs. From the posted picture it is difficult to tell function of left counter top. Coffee bar? If it is not a functional space I think your ship model would showcase nicely there and remove other nic- naks from above TV. Good luck.

Funny, the "blue wall" you mentioned is actually Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter. I was trying that color and everything just looks so "Flat" against the cabinets.

This is what I am dealing with. No chance in changing the counter tops.

I’m with Mark. Try a cream or beige. Here are a few to think about:

Sherwin Williams Softer Tan, Natural Tan, Canvas Tan (a fave if mine) and someone already mentioned Accessible Beige.

Benjamin Moore Gentle Cream, Navajo White, Elmira White, Capitol White, or Cedar Key.
