I have a late 2009 white Unibody MacBook.
About a year and a half ago I got a new battery for it.
Lately, when I'm charging the battery the laptop indicates that it's charging. But when the battery has been fully charged and I disconnect the laptop from the electrical outlet, the laptop goes off.
The problem could either be the battery or the computer itself.
Other than ordering a new battery and testing the laptop, is there another way I can test my laptop? In other words, I don't want to order a new battery unless I know for sure that the battery is the problem as opposed to the computer.
Is there a way I can test my laptop or do I have to order a new battery then do the test?
