What night stands will go with this bed??
Comments (11)I have a platform bed like that without the headboard (since ours is in a bay window). When dressed, you barely see the bed (at least the way I dress it) so the matching dresser wouldn't be a big deal. I'd do the two, but definately not the side tables. That's too kit like :o( Mirror pieces would be lovely, but keep them substantial in scale to go with the bulk of the bed headboard. I'd also love to see some black pieces considered. You can go with a lovely iron urn with a marble top and say a antique sewing table (iron on the bottom) which makes a great night stand, or do a desk on one side :o)...See MoreWhat kind of dresser and nightstand to go with this bed?

Comments (17)Are there two people living in this room? If not, I'd push the bed against the window and make space for one real night stand. Otherwise, I like Helen's idea -- I need a place for a lamp and to put my phone/glasses/book at night, so I couldn't do without, but there are lots of workarounds where space is tight. Lamps from above the bed, narrow ledges for setting stuff, etc....See MoreLooking for help finding nightstands to go with a dresser I purchased.
Comments (5)The width of the wall is 16 ft. I saw this nightstand and it's nice but it's smaller than I'd like. Century does have a lot of customizable options that would work, but it gets rather pricey. I was looking for something with one or two drawers and a shelf. I love the idea of the shelf. It's perfect for stacking books and adding a decorative bowl to hold smaller items. As for my bed, I'm going to get a new one so it's clean slate. I'm really building this around the dresser. They featured this dresser in a magazine and paired with a textured fabric, navy, nightstand which was really pretty. I'm just looking for more inspiration. Thank you!...See More- 6 years ago
