More measurements are needed. All walls. All doors and windows. All measurements from corners to doors and window casings. All obstructions that prevent cabinetry being installed on a wall.

Here's a rough suggestion. I recommend thinking of the dining area side of the space as a minimum 9'x12', protected space that you do not crowd. That's pretty much the smallest area you can comfortably have a dining set and a traffic path.

You might be tempted to crowd the exterior door, but it's recommended you keep at least 18" of clear space to the side of a door's knob.

This layout compromises on the preferred location of a fridge. Ideally you should have 48" between the front center of the fridge and landing space/counter, this plan is about 6 feet. The benefit is that your primary prep space between sink and range looks like it would be much improved. In the drawing below I voided out the corner so there were wider drawers, but you could also do a susan.

I widened the doorway to the living room to 60" and widened the dining area window to 60". I think these changes would be a huge improvement to how you enjoy your living space as well as how the natural light comes in to these spaces.

depending on frequency and flow of traffic in/out back door....I think I'd get the microwave out of the back door zone. I would skip the vertical set up clogging up the counter landing space by back door. You just can't fight with need for landing by an entry. Install hooks on side of fridge panel by the door, and have counter run all the way left of sink to door. Skooch range to left a bit and place microwave drawer under counter to the right of range. The L using the two walls, that benje shows, is going to work. Using furniture feet, good materials for cabs and floor, and great tile backsplash , beautiful counter, improved lighting will make the all-in one space desirable. Do you have budget for better than average materials, options. The configuration is basic, so if you have the dollars for "looks upgrades" start the search for inspiration pics.

You could have a 3' deep work table/island, with minimum recommended aisles. I drew a slider and a big window, but the single door and a smaller window would work. There are two full-height, 18" deep pantries, with a coffee/snacks/breakfast station between them, and you could have a MW on a shelf, or in a drawer below.

I have a similar 3x5' island/table in my kitchen and my grown children, and the grandchildren, prefer eating at it.
