Thanks, Irma...since I've retired it's hard to keep track of days of the week, let alone months! And they do say it takes 10 yrs to get used to how old you are.

I love the fragrance from the lilies - even one stem with just a few blooms has a heady aroma. I just try to remember to cut off the anther before the pollen stains.

Mine is a picture of me after I caught a 15 lb. salmon fishing off the boat, Discovery, while on a trip to Alaska.

We had my salmon for several meals and also a 25 lb. halibut that the chef caught the same day.

Oh gosh, Summer, thanks. I hate having my picture taken. I'm usually behind the camera. LOL But I was very excited to have caught such a big (to me) fish!! Thank you.

Annie, your picture looks nice enough, but I'm pretty certain the plant is an oriental bittersweet vine, my current most-hated plant. I'm very familiar with it and it provokes a visceral "where's the loppers?" reaction in me. The reason its twisted like that is it was wrapped around some young tree. It squeezed the tree to death, which is now long since gone.
