Mixing Marbles in the master bathroom - good or bad?

I purchased a carrara marble tile with metal design (from Artistic Tile) for a tile rug to be installed in front of my vanity and between the vanity and glass shower. For the rest of the floor, the most obvious choice would be 12x24 tiles of carrara marble.

I'm not a huge fan of carrara for the bathroom because it's more gray than I prefer and would like to use Arabescato for the floor and shower walls. Could I get away with a carrara tile rug and arabescato tile for the rest of the floor and shower? It would be noticeably grayer/different, but as a tile rug, is that okay?

Also, while on the subject -- IF i did all carrara marble, would it be too much if i also did my shower walls the same? Shower is in center of room across from 9' vanity with glass walls, so very visible and large (6' x 5'). Any other suggestions for the shower?
