I have two wide but relatively short windows with deep window wells in my new walk-out basement. I'm struggling with what to put in them. I feel they would look best with something hung inside rather than in front of them, since the wells are so deep, but most 'regular' blinds don't come in those widths (72.5" and 74" respectively). Previous owners had two of those brown bamboo-like roller shades in each window, which I don't like. Any suggestions? This remodel is $$$ so trying to keep costs down, even if it is a fairly temporary solution. It's a basement living room so style isn't my #1 concern but need some privacy.
