"Fluff" post: toilet paper hanging over or under the holder?
Comments (72)Hi Cynic...Meet Caroline!! I had a 4 1/2lb. Fox Terrier/Chihuahua mix, Susie, with me for 12 years. One of the purest joys of her life was jumping up, digging on the TP roll to unroll it, and then grabbing a mouthful, so she could gleefully run down the hallway, into the living room, and then the kitchen. When the long streamer would snag and break, she'd start the whole process over again, I finally installed a higher shelf to hold the rolls. Once in a great while I would put a roll on the original holder since it brought her so much joy. She only unrolled the paper in the main bath. She never bothered the paper in the master bath. And now you "know someone who has seen it!"...See More"Fluff" post: describe your shower curtain
Comments (26)Glass door on separate shower in master bath, no shower in DD's old bath - just an antique footed tub with a hand shower. Downstairs tube has a shower and it has a cloth liner and the shower curtain is a white pique one from Matouk. I like very simple for shower curtains and it is always folded back unless drying. A curtain across the tub reminds me of Psycho!...See MoreFluff post: SOS pads or Brillo?
Comments (34)I belong to a FB cleaning group. People highly recommend Scrub Daddy’s. I found 2 new ones at a yard sale this summer but haven’t tried them. I guess I’m saving them for the right task. People said they don’t last long. Has anyone ever used a pumice??? They are less than $2 at Walmart in the cleaning aisle. Works great on Pyrex ( I never thought the handles on the clear ones would look new again) and the bottom of pans. No more scrubbing. Another product I really like is a ‘kitchen stone’ made from recycled glass. It works like a pumice would but is for stove tops. Since it’s made of glass it won’t scratch. I got it on Amazon. I dip it on my dishwater and rub it on the ceramic glass top stove. Follow up with Windex and it’s done. I never liked the Cerama-Bryte....See MoreFluff post: when do you use paper plates?
Comments (74)We were feeding the outside neighborhood cats on regular dishes that we would bring in to be washed, put the dish in the sink covered with water until I got around to using soap and hot water. Well one of my cats loves to get in the sink and play in the water and he got an infection, probably from the dish that the outside cat had used. $441 later at the vet, we figured out how our "house" cat got the infection. Now we only use paper plates to feed outdoor critters....See MoreUser
