Comments (1)I would go more mid century modern. Dark gutters and roof. Leave the brick as is and leave the eaves white. Modern light fixtures and landscaping. Remove the landscape timbers on the left so you can see the brick ledges under the windows. Remove the bench and pop the front door with an orange color. Comments (7)I agree with removing the shutters. The curb appeal would be greatly enhanced by adding shrubs of different types and shapes and different shades of green and different leaf shapes, punctuated by colored perennials (in the colorways you like.) I like big brass house numbers, it tells people, "I want you to find my house!" Can you put up some more photos taken from further back so we can see more of the front yard and your driveway? What part of the country are you in? What gardening zone? Other Houzzers are much better than I at house paint colors. I am wondering if instead of those strict straight lines for the concrete in front of the house, if a curved area might be prettier, and on the concrete you could have some nice potted plants, and nice landscaping on the grassy side of the concrete. Maybe a small table and a couple of chairs with an outdoor rug on the concrete if you enlarged the concrete area a bit, and you could make a small pergola extending out from the roof, and you could hang a couple of plants from the pergola. Then it would look somewhat welcoming to neighbors. Even if you don't like your neighbors, it would be welcoming to you every time you drive home....See MoreHelp with exterior update for 70s orange/brown brick ranch.
Comments (21)the gutters would look so much better in a copper color, especially w/that Jade color. anyway you can get them painted (or don't know if you're getting new ones) you could do the bronze/copper, or a brighter copper, address numbers and copper window boxes (You can order copper sheeting and make these yourself. or just paint a copper color. but the real stuff patinas w/time. I have a roll of super thin real copper. it's not difficult to work with) for the front door, I'd do the jade color, or even a lighter jade. If you don't want green on the trim, How about one of these Bronze colors? for the garage door I think any of the 3 would look nice some other color palettes...See MoreNeed 70s stucco ranch exterior color advice
Comments (7)So you may want to take some cues from this model home in south FLA where I live. Get rid of the stucco arch at the doorway and add columns. Add lots of wide trim as shown in the inspiration photo and possibly create an alcove to the front door. Landscaping will take it to the next level. Remove the window mullions if possible....See MoreNancy Sacco
