Question on sweet potato harvest

I had a raised bed of sweet potatoes in 2016. In 2017, I had volunteers come up and I ignored them to see what they would do. Then, I got sidetracked and forgot them. For months. It got cold. And colder. And then it snowed in south Georgia. Today, it is warmer and I went out to clean up the bed. Many of the potatoes clearly froze and thawed and are mush. But there are way more than I would have imagined that are hard as a rock and beautiful. Any chance they might be salvageable even though it got so cold?
