Thank you for all your suggestions and I'm very sorry for the confusion I guess it looks more purple in the photos because the sunlight isn't shining on it right now but is a warm pink. I will try again when it's exposed in the sun.

The houses I’ve seen painted grey and white with the orange barrel roof don’t look “right” to my eyes. They are telling two different stories so I hope you get big samples of both house and trim colors to check this out before you decide. If your tired of the peach a cream with medium to dark brown trim would work with your roof and look more updated and fresh.

Why ? I need to see your space to understand the reason . IMO taupes are hard to get right just like whites or grays .I also always make sure the lighting is the same in all the spaces you are painting I like LEDs 4000K everyhwere to mimic daylight but 3500K is okay as long as it is everywhere. Post some pics of your space .

Understanding neutral color families is key here. . . Sand isn't one of them. To get neutrals you are desaturating colors, so instead of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet we get the muted grayed down versions. (Add some of the contrasting color (red+green, orange + blue, yellow+violet) Those that are predominantly warm we describe as shades of beige (or brown if darker): Pink beige, orange beige, yellow beige, green beige, those that are predominantly cool we classify as shades of gray: green gray, blue gray, violet gray. Those that are kind of in between gray and beige are describes as taupe (between violet gray and pink/orange beige. Have a pink or purple undertone and greige (between yellow/green beige and green gray. True gray, true white and true black are perfectly balanced between the cool and warm tones or long, medium and short wavelengths all the other mixtures are neutrals, near neutrals, or color. There isn't a magic number that makes something gray greige or beige or gray taupe or beige there are just a gazzillion mixes that fall somewhere into these families. If I were trying to mimic this look and feel I would look for a gray/beige that leans green aka greige. Comparing to a neutral gray is my method for comparison. . . The gray chair seems close to a true gray as do the blacks (true black). I do think this photo is a bit off due to shadows. If you look toward the window the wall color is much more pink than the far wall. When we get shadows yellow turns greenish (whole other topic on why we see yellow differently than any other color). My guess is that the room is probably a bit more taupe than greige, but if your looking to imitate and don't have the exact same lighting you would still want to move toward greige.
