I am using Daltile form Home Depot. The stores here in Houston vary widely in what they carry and their stock. I have just ordered the trim pieces that I need from Home Depot online in order to have enough for my project. The good thing is that if you order it online, have it delivered to the store, you can always return it to the store. But it's crazy to have to order 2 boxes when they only have 1 box on the shelf or don't carry it all at my nearest store, but carry it 10 miles away at another store. There was a lovely hand made tile from Ann Sachs called Sur La Mer. It was actually sourced from Ken Mason -- it is their "South Beach" KM had some of the "clear" (off white) color on sale at a very good price-- it was an over-run. HTH.

I searched exhaustively for this for several months...sadly it doesn't exist for under $18/SF (Subway Ceramics, but they don't do colors). After that it heads north of $25/SF. If you can swing that, there are some nice options---there's an old thread listing several, including Heath (handmade but we went to look at them and they thought we could probably pull off a skinnier grout line than their recommended 3/8") and I think Sonoma Tile and a company in Portland whose name escapes me. If you're open to glass there are some more options, too. We finally gave up and used 3" x 6" instead.

These are 2x4 honed carerra. It's from Eurotile. I don't know the price. Here is another 2x4 whiter marble. It does not say if it's honed. It's from Northeastern Tile and is under $10 for a 12x12 sheet:
