Flooring to match marble look quartz
Hi, I am narrowing down flooring decisions and think its down to these 3 Mannington Adura Max options. The counter sample shown is not my exact counter, but it gives a good color example. The actual counter I'm thinking of using is LG Muse, but they don't have any samples of it at either the distributor or my fabricator (rep for all of CA is out of town). So, I'm using this white and grey to give an example, the Muse has similar bright white and blue-grey veins. Here is the actual lg muse from their website.
I think the top floor (Mannington Aspen Alpine) might match more for the greys. But, I like the look of the bottom two a little more (Mannington Margate Oak Sandbar on left and Margate Oak Harbor on right ). I can add pictures from a distance too, but I thought close-up might work better. Cabinets are going to be white on the perimeter and either white or grey in the island.

Comments (24)Can you get to Central New Jersey? Go to the MSI showroom. They're lovely, and helpful, and you can see full slabs of of the quartz. If you can, bring one of your cabinet doors. I was having a problem finding the right white since many quartzes I looked at were too creamy. I went there recently and found something I love, and bought, that's new, not even on their website or in any kitchen showrooms I've been to. I bought a piece, Calacatta Bruno, because it's great in my bathroom, but they've got loads. Also, they'll ask who sent you. Have a name ready, like your contractor, or Home Depot, or anything. Comments (8)Where are you located? Here in CA tile showrooms are not completely closed. They will make a one-on-one appointment and let you in to look and get some samples, with everyone wearing masks. Many companies are also good about mailing samples. I requested a sample from Porcelanosa last week and they mailed it immediately and I got it 3 days later. The problem with the marble look tile samples is that they are cut from the larger tiles and the colors you see in your sample could be the main color in the tile or a very very tiny part of the whole color scheme. You can also look for online photos of the samples you get, to see the actual patterns when installed in a whole room. There is a wide variety in the overall look of marble-look tiles, ranging from very grey/blue to very beige, so I would not want to commit to something from a tiny sample. Comments (13)I'm fine with circles. I just don't care for the specks/confetti look of some of them. I like limestone which is the look I was going for in a porcelain tile floor, so need a little variation with the countertops. I'll add some photos....See More

6 years agoWe're doing a remodel, so I'm first choosing the floor, and then can match the grey island to it. I haven't chosen the bathroom or laundry room floor yet, but there's a mosaic tile that I might use which has white, medium and dark grey, and a lightish navy blue. Here is another picture with all the samples plus our favorite from Coretec. Carpet below will all be removed!
Top: Aspen Alpine
Middle left: Sandbar
Middle right: Harbor
Bottom: Sherwood Pine
Bottom Tile: possible bathroom/laundry room tile (the rooms connect). Would likely use something else on the other bathrooms (can choose to match rest of the house floors).
I'm probably jumping on the white/grey bandwagon too late, but I'm sick of my beige house now!
