Spider Plant and Oyster Plant
Comments (15)Congratulations on your new plants! Tradescantia Spathacea, also known as Oyster Plant or Moses-in-the-cradle, is a great indoor plant that is relatively easy to care for. As for repotting, it is generally recommended to wait until the roots start to come out of the bottom of the pot or until the plant becomes root-bound before repotting. However, if the pots are very small and you notice that the soil is drying out very quickly, you may consider repotting them into slightly larger pots with fresh potting soil. When repotting, make sure to choose a pot that is only slightly larger than the current one, as a pot that is too large can cause the soil to stay wet for too long and lead to root rot. Also, use a well-draining potting mix and water the plants thoroughly after repotting. In terms of care, spider plants and Tradescantia Spathacea prefer bright, indirect light, and should be watered when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. They also benefit from regular fertilization during the growing season. With proper care, your plants should thrive and bring you joy for years to come!...See MoreWhat color is “Oyster”?
Comments (4)In case this helps anyone out there, I went to the showroom and saw Jacuzzi’s “Oyster” color. It is the same as bisque or biscuit. It look like off white, reads like white from across the room but not bright white. Would be a good neutral if you don’t want a stark white. In other words, if you have seen “Biscuit” then you have seen “Oyster”...why do they name bathroom colors after food? Biscuit, oyster, almond, chocolate, espresso, avocado, creme!...See MoreDiamond Kote Siding - oyster shell, sand, beige
Comments (12)What did you decide to use? We are considering the Oyster Shell lap siding and shakes. The color looks so different on each side of our house. On the south side it is very light and seems more a trim color. On the north side, depending on the time of day and cloud cover, it looks darker and really pretty....See MoreIs SW Oyster Bay enough contrast with Sea Salt?
Comments (4)I think they will look great together... every room has different lighting, both natural and artificial. These colors would be great in the same room, and will look similar in separate rooms. Congratulations on the new build!...See More- 8 years agolast modified: 8 years ago
