I agree with the previous post. Check ebay. That is the most acurate and reliable source for up to date, REAL life prices. Forget price guides. Ebay will tell you what people will really pay. I have been running an ebay listing service for several years now and have sold lots of Fiesta. The common stuff like plates, saucers, cups don't sell to well. Usually less than $10.00 unless they are a rare color. Unique items like syrup contains, some coffee pitchers, relish trays, etc are much more desireable.

I look at function first when buying my range. I have Wolf DF and the reason I like it is the ability to manipulate the direction of heat. The temperature swing of some electric ovens can be much less than gas, as little as 2-5 degrees but I am not sure this would be significant in a difference in baking for most people. Another difference is that the electric oven can have the third element or European convection. Again, I'm not sure what difference this will make in the results of baking. I do like and use the self clean. With electric you give up the infrared broiler on some gas ranges. As far as electronics on the Wolf Df, it just has a dial that pulls out and a panel for a timer,probe and light switch. I've been very happy with my choice but have baked and roasted with gas too and both are great. I wouldn't do without convection though if I could help it. You might look at the Culinarian.

I moved into a new home 3 years ago and needed a set of everyday easy-care dishes for the kitchenette area. I collect Jadite Fire-King which is displayed in my white glass front cabinets. My counter tops are pale green Corian (Carribbean). I needed something to match those colors but didn't want anything with a strong statement. I ended up buying the Correlle "Pretty Pink" square pattern. I started with the basics and added over time, so it didn't put too much of a pinch on my budget. The colors look good in my kitchen and the Corelle is easy-peasy to take care of. Durable, dishwasher/microwave safe, light weight and with so many matching accessories, it has been a good investment for my kitchen. I use other various dish & china collections for my dining room. Best of luck in your decision. Buy one set of each and see how they look in your home, then return those that don't work for you.
