On an Android phone, the home pages (several to the left and right also) are like the desktop on a Windows PC. You can have icons there, or you can remove them, the programs (or apps) are still on the device and still accessible through the Apps button (it's an icon of many dots). That's the Android equivalent of windows Start, All Programs. On my Android phones, home page app icons are removed by pressing and holding them. The word "remove" or "delete" should appear at the top or bottom of the screen, "move" the icon to that area. Alternatively, you can press and hold the icon and move it to the left or right, to an unused home page. To remove an app from the phone, you go to Settings, Apps, press and hold the one you want to deal with and you'll see an Uninstall button.

You should put this post into the Laundry section. Personally, I wouldn't use those quick-connects. I've had them pop off unexpectedly under pressure. Also, Teflon shouldn't be required since these connections all have rubber washers (no pun intended) in them. The guys who delivered my LG used a web strap (a pair) to lift the washer into position. The web strap resembled a tow strap for a car.

Ann, try saving it to your Clippings. Look to the right of your last post (just above this). You will see the word Clippings in green letters. Under that it will say Clip This Post. For each recipe or comment you want to save, click on Clip This Post. Another way to do it is to highlight the entire thread, or the parts you want, right click with your mouse and then click on Copy. Start a new document in Word and paste the thread into that document, then save it to your computer. If you want me to do that for you and then email it to you, let me know.

sugar- You can use the Internet away from home in two ways: You can go someplace, open up the settings on your tablet or netbook, etc., and see if you have free wi-fi available where you are using it. For instance, many restaurants, healthcare providers, airports, all Starbucks, all McDonalds, many small businesses, most libraries, etc., have free wi-fi, and any such electronic device should be able to connect to it (presuming the device works properly). If you get a tablet with optional cell phone technology built in, and also pay for a cell phone carrier data plan, you would be able to connect to the Internet anywhere there is a cell phone signal from your carrier. I have 2 iPads and an Android tablet, but none of them has the built-in capability to receive data (Internet access) from a cell phone carrier. I simply use them to connect to the Internet using my home wi-fi wherever I am in the house or out in my yard, and I take one along when I travel because I can usually find free wi-fi somewhere. I didn't want to add an extra hundred dollars or so to the price of my tablet for added, built-in hardware so I could connect to a cell phone data plan, and I did not want to additionally pay for that monthly data plan as it can get expensive and is sometimes limited in terms of how much info/data you're allowed to access each month by the carrier. If I'm traveling and I absolutely can't find a free wi-fi connection, I connect to the Internet with my smartphone. So, to be clear, if you are going to opt for a tablet, you need to decide whether you want a model with wi-fi capability only (like mine), or are willing to pay more for the same tablet so it has the built-in capability to connect to the Internet through a cell phone carrier and pay monthly for a data plan.
