Lose weight. Lose Houzz. I can't read the home decor forum unless I sign up for "Houzz Advice" and they didn't let me post here with that topic. Changes are coming. I miss Spike.

Seagrass, they are the same as they've always been for me. Although, while not particularly on this forum, there are times I too miss Spike ;0) (using Win 7 desktop for here)

I don't really make New Years resolutions, but if I did I might say I would like to cook more creatively this year instead of our oft repeated same 'ol favorites, and reduce some clutter especially paper type clutter and unneeded clothes clutter.

So sorry for your loss zach. My resolution is to get every potted rose in the ground so I don't have to do the pot polka, in the garage/basement when it gets cold, back out again when it isn't. With temps going down to the teens tonight, I still have some pots to bring it. I have all the ones upstairs in the garage and I tried to get all the ones in the backyard in the basement last night, but the light has apparently burned out so I will have to go out there this AM to see what is left (and change the light bulb).

I was driving a couple hours to Tupelo because one could make an appointment and he would do it the same day. They closed last year. This shop is run by a difficult woman whose husband does the service. You had to leave your machine for seven weeks. I had a credit from a class cancelled last March due to Covid. I went in before Christmas and she loudly proclaimed to the whole place that I had "dropped out". Huh? Anyway, there is a dealer in the tiny New England town where our lake house is, so my machine may be making that trek. Bernina needs to beef up their dealer network.

The way to get to the old HD forum is to log in on the Convo page, then use the link there. Otherwise you may find you get sent to the Houzz evil twin version instead. Generally if you log in to GW on a page that has no Houzz equivalent, you can see the GW version of other pages, by using the links on the GW pages.

I find that now if I'm not logged in, it's the houzz version or nothing.

I miss Spike too. (sigh) I'm not having any problems with Houzz that I haven't had right along, other than I still can't post a picture from Photobucket. I could, then it changed, and I couldn't, and I still can't. I just stopped trying.

It's not ideal, but at least we still have a Cooking forum, so I threaten to give it up, then cave in and I don't.

New Year's resolutions? Same as always: Eat less, move more. We'll see how that goes this year...

I never make resolutions but this year I'm hoping to not make as much fuss over the Christmas feast. I'm getting too old for it.

I didn't make formal resolutions, but I think trying a keto diet philosophy married with more exercise. Traveling more and stressing less. But most importantly, face decisions head on and stop wavering or procrastinating. That about sums it up.
