Thanks good advice. I went to a flooring shop today and she advise me to stay clear of off-white too. She suggested mayfair suave bianco by anatolia tile it comes in high polish or matte and also suggested going with 12x24. It's a white but has a light grayish-beige design - she advised against going pure/all white.

Is there another colour or even tile type that you would suggest? I'm open to suggestions.

I do have a good flooring guy- he just came by to look at the existing flooring and what he needs to do to prep.

The only thing left to do is take home samples, put then down next to the cabinets and then view them in all 5 lighting situations. You will quickly figure out which "white" will work and which ones won't.

Hi! Changing just the kitchen floor will break up the seamless look you have now - but I understand that you can’t redo the whole area... Regarding choice of tile, I agree with the suggestion above to bring home a few samples and see which ones work best in situ.

Thank you both! I've thought about this some more and realized that I don't feel comfortable about putting down tile, nor do i want to break up the flow. I don't think think white flooring will look good given that the wall, cabinets and countertop are already white. I think the floor should to be a different colour.

So I think the best decision is to wait a bit and save up so I can replace the whole floor rather than just the kitchen.

I really do like the current seamless flow, as well as the colour so I'm thinking of sticking with the same colour tone but in luxury vinyl flooring since it's fairly durable and waterproof.

From what I've researched so far, it's best to stay away from brands sold in big box stores. I will probably get something from a flooring store who know their stuff and sell better quality flooring like Armstrong or Mannington.

I'm completely open to any and all suggestions. This is much more difficult than I anticipated haha
