Parma!! So great to see you-- but darn, are you back already???? I hope not!! Well the rug is partially on the floor. (Hiding face in shame). I need some assistance and/or some of those moving disks. I am still nervous about putting the rug down with sick dogs but hell, the rug IS for the floor afterall, no? Only slight progress with the chairs.. well it isnt really progress but the field has been reduced by one option. One of the chairs I was looking at has been discontinued (sound familiar). I am leaning towards the chairs that I think you liked.. they are from hickory white and slightly french and more rustic/simple in style. (it is the drexel heritage chair that is discontinued) I am looking for someone who has it in their showroom though as I want to sit in it. I also still like the mandarin club chairs from gumps but I dont really want to add more leather or more dark color. The pillow sounds lovely-- velvet is my weakness. Love the oranges and greens too. The orange in the rug is *very* muted but I do intend to being in small orange accents. Great to see you-- and thanks for your input!

It depends on the style you are getting. Look at the first picture and how wide the edge detail and scooped part of the raised panel is. If you tried to do that on a narrow drawer, there would only be a small strip of raised panel to put the pull on, or maybe none at all. It depends on the depth of the drawers and how much detail is on the edges. I think some styles need a minimum depth to be able to do the raised panel design. We went with flat panel on our top drawers when we refinished our existing cabinets and replaced the doors/drawer fronts. Decide what to do after you know exactly the style you are getting. Hopefully they will have pictures or drawings of narrow drawers to help you decide. If you want all raised panel, you may have to adjust the size of the drawers to accommodate the drawer profile.

Here are some pic update from my J&P sale and Wayside Gardens sale. Wayside Gardens sale roses (The Ancient Mariner x2 , Princess Alexandra Of Kent x2 , Darcey Bussell, Tess of the d'Urbervilles) were stressed from shipping in high temperature then got hit by the sun in my garden even they were under a tree, all the new growths died and it took a while with a lot of extra care before some new growths showed up again. Here are the pics of the 2 with slowest growths (The Ancient Mariner and Princess Alexandra Of Kent) taking today. I wasn't sure that these 2 could make it. I'm glad they did. Thank you, everyone for your suggestions. I will definitely get the bigger chandeliers to balance out the room. The table cannot be turned on side way due to the space between credenza. Although I originally wanted square/rectangle rugs, none of those fit because all legs of the chair would not be on those rugs. We tried to move table forward so the legs will fit but then, there would be awkward space by the windows. I am also wondering if I should get runner in the living room. And if I should, do I match with the one in the living room or one in dining room?
