I believe in mixing styles as long as they blend. Any idea/ picture of the rug for dinning room?

I like these but not sure it it goes well in the room or not.

I think the round rug is beautiful but my concern is no so much that you would be mixing styles, but rather the color. I would opt for a rug that blends more with your living room color scheme. For example, this same rug where the beiges and rust would be the main colors and just a touch of blue..

I think the round rug is too big. It is hard to tell from the photo exactly what the shape of the space is, but it looks as if the dining table should be turned.

Thinking no rug, but getting a more interesting, larger chandelier.

I think that rug is fine. I don’t think you need it. And it is busy. But i think it’ll look ok. I personally agree with skipping and changing out the chandelier instead. Also, can you pull the couch forward a smidge. Please lol.

With the step up the space reads as two separate rooms I feel the rugs do not need to match for each being unique helps define the two spaces even more.

Thank you, everyone for your suggestions. I will definitely get the bigger chandeliers to balance out the room. The table cannot be turned on side way due to the space between credenza. Although I originally wanted square/rectangle rugs, none of those fit because all legs of the chair would not be on those rugs. We tried to move table forward so the legs will fit but then, there would be awkward space by the windows.
I am also wondering if I should get runner in the living room. And if I should, do I match with the one in the living room or one in dining room?
