Excessive breakage of lasagna noodles

Hi Folks, every Christmas for over 20 years I have made several lasagnas, generally using Ronzoni noodles. I do boil them for about 10 minutes, as we usually end up with a few broken pieces, a little extra, etc. that we eat with sauce or whatever. I purchased the regular noodles (not the no boil ones) as always, and they started breaking apart way more than usual after just a couple minutes in the pot. There was not one perfect noodle after boiling 3 boxes. We salvaged enough to make the lasagnas, and my son had a bowl of little tiny curly pieces for lunch - never had them break up so small before! I was thinking of calling the grocery store to see if anyone complained as they sell a lot of them this time of year, and my husband suggested e-mailing Ronzoni. Wonder if they cut corners making them somehow. For those of you that still boil your noodles, did anyone else experience this problem?
