Comments (24)Cathy, the best part was seeing your face when I gave you teh gift bag. That was priceless. Here we were in our jammies talking about the swap when I mentioned that mine was being delivered that day! I also told Cathy that this was a tough one as she had been sucha good freind to me over the years, but I stuck to my kitchen favorites. The everyday pan is just that, you use it everyday. No more turning the pan to get the long handle out of the way, easy to put inthe sink to clean and in a pinch it can go right to the table like a paella pan. When my first cheapy one died, I had a new one ordered in 24 hours, I knew I could not be without one. And do we ever have enough spatulas? Or just the right platter for that certain something? Comments (3)I've done the same thing with orange juice. I also own a small plastic pitcher that holds exactly a pint. I'll use that to make my OJ for the day. Comments (9)They work like any reloadable gift card. I would caution two things. If he is having problems mentally he may not be able to use it. If he is receiving any type of governmental assistance like reduced rent, utilities, Medicaid not Medicare giving him money may affect what he can receive in benefits. Sending him a care package of food he normally eats will not in most states. Some of the types of senior benefits coordinate between federal and state programs and what affects one may or may not affect another. If you are not his guardians/conservators you should talk to that person if there is one first to see if he is capable of even handling a card....See More- 8 years ago
