California Carnivores has one of the biggest collections of CP in the US and the owner is the author of the famous and popular book of how to grow carnivorous plants: The Savage Garden. The owner is Peter DÂAmato himself. Every time I visit California, I stop there to buy plants directly from him. His nursery is located in Sebastopol. Between San Francisco and Sebastopol itÂs only about 56 miles and depending on the traffic it shouldnÂt take you more then an hour and a half. Comments (7)Teresa, I hope nothing was broken and that you will enjoy what I sent you because I know we will enjoy your MN rice. We live in a rural area (population 2500) and I am always mailing peanuts, the post office expects it this time of year. When I went to the post office to get boxes and they asked me what size I told them something big enough for a bottle of wine, a bottle of BBQ sauce, salad dressing and peanuts (what a combination.) They all started laughing and I told them the reason why I was mailing this. I just know they are all jealous now!! They have never tasted real wild rice. Thank you again.
