Toro recycler 20066 Please check your handle set up for me!
Comments (3)I will try to reach him, from what I can see using the magnifyer on my computer on a Toro recycler image, the A shaped piece appears to be upside down. Tried using a regular wrench yesterday, but will damage the points on the nuts if I continue to do so. Somewhere in this house there should be wratchet wrench? I know what it looks like anyways, just not crazy about pilfering through boxes in the basement when there are probably spiders in them. I will try to contact him, we are all on school vacation, and see if he removed the handle. I went to Home Depot, but they did not have one in stock, and the lawnmowers were displayed 10 feet up. The manual has sketches, which appeared to support the upside down position as well....See MoreChecking In, Prayers Needed...
Comments (13)Been there and done that with my daughter when she was nine. She developed a tummy ache in school. We didn't have a car available, so she had to walk the 1/2 mile home in pain. I really didn't think it was anything more than something she ate, but it just kept getting worse. I wasn't able to get her into a doctor till that evening, when their emergency clinic was open. He had her jump up and down and tell him if it hurt. That was how he decided she needed to go to the hospital. They actually had her do that there, too. She was in so much pain I had to carry her, and they had her jumping up and down. Turned out her appendix was ruptured, also. The luckiest thing about this was it happened a few weeks after my DH was laid off, but before his insurance ran out, so we were covered. A month later, and we would have been in real trouble. She recovered nicely, but had to take some huge antibiotic pills that they said had to be taken whole. No way. They were bigger than she was. (She's always been very, very tiny) We had to break them in half, and still they were big for her. Bobbi, you and your son are in my thoughts and prayers. He'll be out of there in no time, and feelling much better, I'm sure. Hang in there. Sally...See MoreJust checking in and am saying prayers

Comments (23)The best way to get an answer to your question is to talk with a few different banks and see. If her name is on the deed to the land, she'll most likely need to be on the mortgage. However, there are ways around that (quit claim deed, removing her -for example). The problem I see will be your DTI as a single borrower. Even though you have no debt, with a $50k salary, a $1800-$2000 (borrowing $250k) mortgage payment puts you at almost 50% DTI. The other problem is that if you're wanting a $250k loan to build, the bank is probably going to want to see more than $20k in contingency funds unless you have a fixed contract. And remember, land equity does not equal cash. We had $140k cash, plus $300k in assets on a $600k build and I'd be horribly uncomfortable with anything less, knowing now how the building process goes....See More- 8 years ago
