I have Cambria Dovedale, a marblesque type color with caramel type veining instead of gray. I had a Khoreshte Aloo (Persian chicken stew) disaster where the turmeric sauce spilled all over the kitchen, my 86 year old dad insisted on moving the La Creuset dutch oven from the range to the table. It took a lot of elbow grease and mild soap but got it off. For the last month or so making blackberry, strawberry, blueberry smoothies/frozen treats in my Vitamix. I clean quickly and easily.

Have just come across all these comments. Wish I’d done so before choosing to purchase Caesar Stone for use in our kitchen! Your marks look very much like the horrendously noticeable long streaks I have on my worktops. What caused yours? And did ever manage to remedy, I wonder? I was led to believe by the supplier that Caesar Stone was infinitely less prone to marking/staining than other types of product. It’s been anything but! Water marks, ring marks, oil, acid from tomatoes and the like have all left it looking very unsightly. This latest marking is the worst and I really don’t know what’s caused it, although I’d hazard a guess its perhaps been produced by my wiping worktop down with a damp cloth that had previously been used with a trace of well diluted Fairy Liquid? But then why only in one long streak when I’d actually wiped down the entire surface? Sorry, unable to attach clear photo as lighting’s producing glare. Anyway, suffice to say that I’d never again consider using Caesar Stone.

I have a kitchen table from Room & Board that has a white quartz top. It does occasionally stain with ink, pencil, colored pencil, etc. Normally I use a homemade cleaner with water, alcohol and blue dawn. It gets everything out for me. I did have one stain from the magnet on the back of my phone case which came in contact with water. I used bar keepers friend and it came right off. I am only left with a small mark that was on the table when it was delivered (we were out of the country and someone else received the table and didn’t say anything to the delivery men). It appears to be a small ink mark. We have been able to dull it slightly, but haven’t been successful at removing it. I will try the greased lightning suggested above, and maybe diluted bleach as a last resort.

I am back two years later with another stain:(. Someone left a tray with some gravy underneath that had Tumeric in it on my counter and it has left stains all over in different areas. My counter top is Taj Mahal Quartzite. I cook a lot and have never had an issue with any food stains prior to this. Unfortunately I think the tray sat for a few hours on the countertop and seeped in. Any recommendations that have been tried and tested? I used a poultice in the past for another stain made from dichotomous earth and 40 clear peroxide. But I do not know if it’s ok to use on an oil based Tumeric stain:(. Please help!
