If you go with the white, do a platinum grout.

Maybe a tone of white that matches the countertop with the grey grout of your cabinets?

I agree with eam, just bring several samples home and let your eyes decide. Be sure to look at all times of day and night.

Pretty! Really hard to tell from lighting in a photo. For kicks I'd bring home a charcoal grey for contrast.

Also, since your counters are monotone, you could add a natural stone with some variation. I'd look at some of those faux hex or subway marble b/s- that could be gorgeous.

Thanks for the responses! Above I posted some pics of the different white boards I made. The one with 6 tiles is the warmer white and the 8 tile board is brighter.

Yes. We are planning on filing the whole sink wall. Maybe just use a very simple straight trim around the window to get as much tile above as we can.
