Roses "F" 2017
Comments (31)Rosecanadian, thank you. Fran's Pirouette is approximately four years old. I can look it up, but that's about it, roughly. Mine is a shrubby plant about 3.5 to 4' tall, not a climber. It reblooms well and has a nice but not powerful fragrance. The blooms usually look similar to what's in the picture but I've seen some that are high centered. Fido has little fragrance but will see what it does this year. Fido is consistently pink, but I do see some purplish tones in the petals in the picture. I have some other seedlings I like but they don't start with "F". I just planted a couple of flats of seeds ...I harvested a lot of hips last fall. So far I have not done any crosses...these are open pollinated, but lots of fun, and some of them are worthwhile I think....See MoreRoses "Q" 2017
Comments (13)I actually have more Q roses, QUEEN BEATRIX (which I'm afraid might've died), QUEEN CITY mini, QUEEN NEFERTITI and QUIETNESS. I guess none of those bloomed last yr. In fact I think I might've also lost QUEEN CITY tho. Not sure if she made it thru the dig up two yrs ago. Still waiting for a couple to bloom so I know who they are!...See MoreRoses "R" 2017
Comments (12)Beth---I need some cuttings of Raspberry Swirls. Get in touch with me some how, some way. This rose is about to disappear. Hear is what I have; Remember Me Randy Scott I also grow Renegade. A beautiful red/white blend mini. I don't have a decent picture of it. I'll have to concentrate on getting some good shots this year....See MoreRoses "U" 2017
Comments (3)UK Peachy mini .. thought I transplanted PAM'S CHOICE, but obviously incorrect... UK Red HT... Came from Hortico a couple yrs ago as ROTARY SUNRISE, an apricot blend. I'm inclined to believe it could be either ROTARY ROSE or ROTER STERN, both of which they have carried in the past. UK Yellow & Orange-red Floribunda? It's either a mislabeled PATCHWORK or it's the CHARISMA I thought I gave away... UK Orange beauty! Was shipped as WINTER SUN from Hortico. Somebody suggested it could be SUNSTRUCK, however it does not have the telltale peacock veining on the underside like my SUNSTRUCK has. This thing is a huge beauty! I love it whatever it is! I have lots more UNKNOWNs out there, but these are the only ones that bloomed last yr... Let's see your Unknown roses, or any "U's" ya might happen to have......See More- 6 years ago
