Hey Josh, I have been been using Pro-Tekt with my Foliage Pro all winter and i can say that my plants have definately been happier than in the past... When i take my rain water and place it in my watering cans, i add the Pro Tekt first to all of the water and then stir it in. (1/4 tsp per gallon) Then i go back and add my Foliage Pro to the water. I keep it upstairs and let it warm to room temperature and then water. The combination of the two will definately help your plants and im so happy to have found my Pro Tekt. My Hydroponics dealer had to order it for me. I still can't find or he wont (says he cant..) order it for me. He looked it up and says its not available. Hmm? I still order my Foliage Pro from Ebay. What a wonderful project! I have some U.S native tree seeds from a seed exchange, and I've already winter sown what I can use. Would you be interested in seeds for Kentucky coffee tree (Gymnocladus dioica) and Devil's walking stick (Aralia spinosa)? I have maybe a half-dozen seeds of the coffee tree, and about 15 of the aralia. I'm afraid I'm going to use all the milk jugs I can save, but I should have some 1-2 gallon plastic pots to donate - I'll have to check my car port. I usually save the pots from landscaping projects at my church. I would also be very interested in buying some native understory trees, if you have any extras this year. My parents have a large wooded lot where I can "play" with planting new trees. Also, my church has a large property in the town of Union that is mostly wooded, but definitely could use some new trees near the parking lot/picnic pavilion area, especially trees like dogwoods, redbud, and amelanchier. Also, may I suggest that some of the neighborhoods affected by the 2006 flooding could use some new trees. The properties that the county/state bought out and razed have opened up lots of "green space" that could be replanted with appropriate trees. I live in the neighborhood above Argonne/Verdun streets in Endwell, and we lost 20+ houses and an entire trailer park to the flooding. The bottom of our neighborhood is wide open. . . . Laurel

mikie, Thank you for your post back to me. So far it hasn't popped up again but I only told it to block instance, not to block it permanently. I would have given it temp access then crossed my fingers that my virus program doesnt pop and say it found a slimy sleazeball. I saw nothing there that even said to give it temporary access. What I finally found out from the recent history in Norton is this. Level: Low, Title: This one time you blocked Microsoft Local Security Authority Shell from accessing your network resources. Status: Blocked. Date: 10/11/2007 12:44:32 AM. The default action was to allow in Norton. Is there anyway for me to unblock this in Norton, or will I have to just wait for it to try to access again? If not then how do I get it to access again, can I get it through Microsoft? How can I correct this mistake? One thing for sure because Norton had it as a low risk, I thought it was the virus. Ugh! thirdfrt!!!

nancy_east -- thanks for your nice words! How exciting about your kitchen -- this will be fun to watch develop! The widest walkway we have is 36 1/2" (countertop to countertop), with it going down to 34 1/2" where our apron front sink "jumps" out. From our cooktop to the widest point of the bowed island countertop is 35 3/4". The only times (or rather, areas) our aisles feel tight are when the dishwasher door is open and there's only 12" of clearance (between the open door and the island cabinetry). But so far, no barked shins! We're careful and aware. The other area is our refrigerator (which is 30" wide, all refrigerator so it's a wide door): when it's open the only one who can sidle by (and then it's just barely) is our two year-old. But neither of those conditions are permanent (meaning, the dishwasher is mostly closed and the refrigerator door is mostly closed as well). While 36" for an aisle isn't "ideal," for us it's working out fine. Our only alternative would've been to give up the island and that wasn't an option! We need the storage space. Your aisles will work out fine; if it there's an impediment in the 36" aisle (like a dishwasher), then you all will learn the same careful two-step we and many others have as well!
